Welcome to the Yocto Kirkstone distribution manual for SECO Northern Europe devices. As an embedded system manufacturer, SECO NE provides devices that normally come with a pre-installed Linux distribution. This manual aims to guide the user through the actions that can be performed on the devices software-wise.

At SECO NE, we use the open source Yocto Project as the base operating system, this manual is written for the Kirkstone release of the Yocto project, which should be applicable to all of our own release under Kirkstone . We also made several modifications to the operating system to suit our devices, those modifications are available as full source code for the user.

Please note that Linux development at SECO NE is always in progress. Pre-built image for each new release can be found in our software release page.
